Justin Was One Of The Most Positive And Up Beat Persons I've Ever Met.

Justin was my LB. He was one of the most positive and up beat persons I've ever met. When things were rocky, and people were not getting along, like family does sometime, my sisters would say, "Well is Justin going?" or "What did Justin say?" Sure enough, if he was going somewhere or doing something, we would all try to go and support. Justin became one of the biggest Reasons to stick together and keep in touch. If he did, then why couldn't we?

I loooooved to hear him sing and lead the Centaur walk...I was like, "look at our Ace!" We were always so proud of him.

We were both artist, him and I. Recently I told him I started singing and we talked about recording together however we never really got the chance. Spoken-word was my love and he would come to the open mics I used to host at CSU and he would always say he wanted a poem from me.

So this poem is for you Justin "Reasons" Izlar!! I hope this reaches you, with all my heart.

ONE REASON!
I'll Give you One Reason. ONE!

Of How, not Why
This Man was an Iota with an Iota of faith to try

And Succeed. Nothing less
His body
fully stressed
God saw him fit to lead
A Youth of peers
He was blessed
With knowledge of how to cope and give our absolute best

No one could fathom the pain.
Or bare his sufferings
But By God He smiled the brightest smile I or the world has ever seen

No complain.
Just more things
to get accomplished.
Find the means.

God has his Will and makes a way
And what Journey it's Been

A warrior was born with a voice like a prince
and ever since,

He's been giving one Reason. One!

To make up in motivation for the physical strength you may lack
Always have a listening ear and good Reason to speak back
Always have Enthusiasm

and on your dreams never slack
Carry a sense of humor for when the storms come to pass
hold your head up high with resistance
And Prepare to laugh last

to stay Genuine, suave and always so ever handsome


He didn't want any sympathy
stayed on his straight and narrow
Always kept his eyes on the prize vision focused like a sparrow
and was praised with applause
Finally standing in cap and gown against his worst odds

A Reason to keep Step
Leg up
Pause
hold it... hold it ...
staying to one accord
Collective Precision is key
not a shinner on board

Justin's condition was a pest
working with the worst but Acing all the tests
I mean diggin for his gold
workin
Workin out his Set

He didn't limp across burning sands
He smoothly Strolled and strongly kept
His eyes set on his biggest desire
To finally get his rest.
Lay down his bow and shield
finally struck gold I bet.

And I'll GIVE YOU ONE REASON
To never complain
to grit and bear during the seasons that change
to never forsake you or your families name
to keep that light shinning through your eyes as long as your heart is pumping blood to your brain
to never say never and be sweet to all the dames
cause they sure will be sweet to you
there's no need to explain.

To be thy brother and sisters keeper
To be on it on it mane
To Be a spiritual teacher
To never quit
despite what you may live with
cause that would be the ultimate pain.

a peace of mind
