I met Justin at New Samaritan. We connected when I was told he was interested in being a physical therapist. He would ask me questions about grad school and my profession and we would talk on occasions. As I started to learn more about Justin's diagnosis and his battle with cancer, I was amazed that such a young person could be such a fighter! He truly demonstrated the keeping and healing power of God.
He demonstrated the ability to trust even when the outward appearance and doctor's reports say otherwise. I love that he was always in good spirits which was encouraging all by itself. When I think of Justin, it pushes me to endure and to keep my complaints to a minimum. When I saw/heard the video he put together for the Intercessory Prayer Conference this year, I was brought to tears because he never ceased to amaze me. His talent and gift through poetry and his strength to encourage others simply blows my mind!
His life was so powerful and he used every bit of it to educate and encourage others! He compels me to praise a God who would create such a being and use him for his glory through sickness! It was a battle he ultimately won and I bless God for allowing me to be graced with his presence and I look forward to seeing all the multiple seeds he planted grow and continue to impact lives all over!
