Justin, where do I begin? I am at a lost for words. I'm filled with pain and questions, but at the same time I'm happy you no longer have to endure anymore pain. I was first introduced to you during the interest meeting of becoming an Iota Sweetheart. I am truly Glad God led me to this organization because I would have never asked for a more tight knit family to have outside of my own. You were one of the many brothers I've had by being apart of the Iota Phi Theta Fraternity.
You were always there no matter what. You stood up for us. You loved us for who we were and only encouraged us to become more. With your encouragement, strength, heart-filled love, and long-lasting smile you gave all us a REASON to look back on situations we complained about and say, "well, I haven't been through as much as he has and he doesn't complain. So why should I?
My most memorable moment with you is when us Sweethearts would gather in the dorm lounge at Coppin and you would be right there on the couch watching us and help add moves to our strolls. In which we WON the stroll competition. (I'M SMILING ...SWINGS HAIR AND WALKS AWAY) LOL. Then as soon as you tried to escape to your room, us being the sisters we are, we ran to your room with you to bother you some more. Dont you just love being a big brother!!! We sat there ...and for some of us this was the first time we'd been in your room and we noticed a Poster of a Kappa and an Iota. Automatically, we were like hold up, hold up, hold up...Why is there a Kappa poster in this room? Were you suppose to be a Kappa? lol Then you replied, "No, my older brother pledged Kappa. And me being N.S.T. (NEVER.STOP.TALKING!) I HAD TO GET THE DETAILS ON HOW YOU DECIDED be a THETA MAN! So we laughed and talked and joked until we all got tired and went to bed!
Its going to be hard to go to events and not hear you sing before the brothers step. ALL I CAN SAY IS THANK YOU. THANK YOU FOR BEING SO HUMBLE. THANK YOU FOR BEING SO DEDICATED. THANK YOU FOR KEEPING FAITH, AND THANK YOU FOR RUNNING THE RACE GOD PLACED YOU IN ...AND NEVER GIVING UP. YOU WON!
I AM SO PROUD OF YOU FOR BEING SO STRONG. I LOVE YOU, BROTHER, AND I NEVER WILL FORGET YOU. YOU WILL FOREVER LIVE IN MY HEART. R.I.P. JUSTIN FROM YOUR LITTLE BIG SISTER! (DONT FORGET IM TALLER THAN YOU LOL) REST IN PARADISE.
