Rewinding A Miracle (READ AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION)

(This is also one of the realest poems I have ever written. With that said, it can be VERY difficult to read. Please note, this poem is NOT about my death. Although this poem forces the reader to face that day, it is NOT negative. There is a message that is meant to inspire. Please do not let the details of this poem diminish its true message...)

Everyone’s thinking about him doing one word, that’s 'dying'
His family’s gathered around and everyone is crying
Family leaves, he’s in the house asking God "me Why"
He hears his brother’s voice. That alone makes him cry
He gets back in the car from when he just got home
Crying eight different times, and he did that alone
Back at the hospital, he gets back out the car
The journey back to the office seems extremely far
He gets there and sits down, trying his best not to cry
He looks over and tells his parents, "home go wanna I"
Wondering to himself why did life have to deal this
Since he heard the doctor say two words…"real It’s"

See the end of that part was the start of the memory
And the beginning was the middle, not the end of this story
So listen to the rest as I tell it in reverse
And see how it all ended up because of what he did at first

Everyone’s at the church rejoicing, having the celebration
Many attended since hearing home-going was their invitation
He opens his eyes with a smile, ready for his transition
Since he knows he’s had a successful life. He’s completed his mission
Health comes back to his body. Breath comes back to his lungs
Seeing his countless visitors and hearing the songs they sung
He gets up from the bed. Receives signs of appreciation
For all the works he did for others and his true dedication
He heads back to his career and to his successful life
He’s there helping many different people deal with their own strife
Back to building up his business, even then he is content
Because many are being blessed by songs and poems he has written
He unpublishes all his works and takes them all off the internet
He’s writing but he’s crying because experience has to interject
His mind’s racing through different thoughts as he fights to live
While he goes through the many treatments the doctors have to give
Getting ready to start the plan, his worry has decreased
Because God answered his prayer and gave him a strange peace
Thanking God and rejoicing, he gets back on his knees thus
Looking back up and calling on one name…JESUS!

NOTE: MY CAREER HASN'T STARTED YET, SO MY END IS NOWHERE NEAR!!!
