"Christian Roach" by Justin Izlar
Ok, this is a lil different approach to Christianity. Sooo, just read it before u start to criticize. Trust me, its better than how it sounds...lol
A roach is just one type of many different household pests.
Well according to the devil, this Christian is one, along with many of the rest.
Have you ever noticed how you try to kill a roach, but it still keeps going?
You stomp on it, but over time, it finds a way to keep on flowing.
With all your heart, you really what them all to be dead and gone,
But you know, no matter what you do, there will always be at least one creeping along.
Compared to us they’re small. Because of what they carry, they’re a health threat.
Compared to the devil, we may be small, but to him, are we a threat? You bet.
Life is like a game. You play to live your purpose, but he tries to make you fail.
As it goes on, you become strategic in trying to win in Heaven and not lose in Hell.
He stomps on us, and tries very hard to kill us, just like we do to all the pests.
And like them, we take the blows, recover, and get back out there to do our best.
After trying, many times we succeed in killing the pest. To us, they are just worthless,
But the only time God allows one of us to die is when we have completed our purpose.
If today you’re still playing this game of life, then there is still a purpose for you.
When it comes to your mission against the devil, you still have more annoying to do.
Like myself, I still have a mission, and Satan won’t let me do it with ease.
So I take the blows, recover, and keep playing, because it is God who I want to please.
So yes, Satan hit me hard, but I kept moving. To him, I’m just an annoying Christian roach.
But he doesn’t understand that in this game I’m invincible, because God is my coach.
